Four people were injured after a car crashed into a shop in Merton High Street on Sunday (April 30).
The silver Toyota Yaris appeared to have hit a tree on the pavement before crashing into a newsagents’ shop window.
Emergency services were called to the junction of Merton High Street and Merton Road at about 11.40am.
Two pedestrians, a man and a woman, were taken to a west London hospital with the driver and his passenger, also male.
The victims in the car received minor injuries.
The woman’s injuries are not being treated as life threatening or life changing. Police are awaiting an update on the man’s condition.
The road was closed on Sunday afternoon but has since reopened.
No arrests have been made but enquiries continue.
