A 17-year-old boy stabbed to death while cycling through a Battersea estate has been named by police as Mahamad Hassan.

Police believe a gang knifed the teenager on the York Road estate in the early hours of the morning on Sunday, April 23.

Police officers and paramedics were called to Ingrave Street at about 1.25am and found him near death after being repeatedly stabbed.

Mahamad, who was known as 'Little Mo', was taken to a south London hospital, but was pronounced dead at 2.50am.

A 19-year-old man arrested in connection with the murder was today (Friday, April 28) bailed until late May.

Two more people - one of them a young man - were today arrested by the Metropolitan Police.
