Trawlawney is a houseboat that has been converted from an old D-Day landing vessel.

Trelawney was converted by the current owner, and it comprises a reception room, kitchen, bathroom and a bedroom with a raised sleeping area.

D Day was the start of Operation ‘Overlord’, the Allies’ invasion of occupied Europe towards the end of World War Two.

Nearly 7,000 naval vessels took part in the operation, including escorts and assault craft that landed over 132,000 ground troops on beaches.

It is currently being auctioned by Pattinson Auction, with the listing ending at 3pm on Friday (April 28). The starting price was £80,000.
