A 50-year-old motorcyclist is in a serious but stable condition in hospital after a crash with a car near Crystal Palace’s Selhurst Park stadium.
The rider was taken to hospital after the crash in Whitehorse Lane, Selhurst at about 5.20pm on Sunday, April 2.
The driver of the car stopped at the scene and has not been arrested.
Detectives from the Metropolitan Police’s Roads and Transport Policing Command are investigating and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
They would especially like to speak to a male rider of a Yamaha R1 motorcycle and his female pillion passenger. Officers emphasised that they were not involved in the crash, but believe they may be vital witnesses.
