Five people have been charged following a suspected hate-crime that left a teenage asylum seeker fighting for his life.
Daryl Davis, 20, and Danyelle Davis, 24, of Laurel Crescent, Croydon, Barry Potts, 20, of Fir Tree Gardens, Croydon, and George Walder, 20, and Jack Walder 24, of Myrtle Road, Croydon, are due to appear in Croydon Magistrates' Court today, April 3.
All have been charged with violent disorder. George Walder was charged with violent disorder and aggravated GBH.
Twenty people were involved in the attack, on Shrublands Avenue, Shirley, which left the 17-year-old Kurdish-Iranian boy with a fractured skull and a blood clot on his brain.
