Spilt diesel on Walton Bridge has caused huge rush-hour tailbacks through Elmbridge.
Surrey Police's Road Cops team tweeted a picture of the congested bridge after a vehicle spilt diesel on one side of the carriageway at 8am.

They said officers had managed to get both lanes moving but warned commuters to expect delays.
Surrey County Council workers are expected to clean the road after the spillage.
