Counter terrorison officers have arrested a man following the search of a home in south London.
A 30-year-old man was then arrested where he worked in west London on Tuesday, March 7.
He was taken to a central London police station where he remains.
A Metropolitan Police spokeswoman said: "He was arrested for section 38b of the Terrorism Act 2000 and detained under PACE legislation.
"This was a pre-planned operation and not as a result of any imminent threat.
She added: "Officers have completed a search of a residential address in south London"
