A train carriage was evacuated and services have come to a grinding halt at West Croydon station after a fire broke out on a train.
Two fire engines from Croydon fire station were called to the incident at around 2.30pm this afternoon.
All lines are currently blocked at the station and no Sutton to Selhurst services are running.
It took firefighters almost 30 minutes to get the fire under control.
