An appeal has been launched after two men were stabbed in Lambeth.

Police were called to reports of a fight at Albion Avenue on Monday, February 6 at 7pm.

A 20-year-old man was found on Wandsworth Road with stab wounds to his back and legs, while another had also been stabbed and remained at scene of the fight.

The other man, 22, sustained stab wounds to his face, legs and chest.

London Ambulance Service attended and brought both men to a south London hospital where they remain in a serious but stable condition.

Police believe the victims were involved in a fight with a group of men prior to the stabbings.

A 19-year old man is in custody after being arrested on Tuesday on suspicion of grievious bodily harm.
