Detectives investigating the murder of a 34-year-old Coulsdon man at a pool party in Headley are offering a £10,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest and conviction.

Ricardo Hunter, also known as ‘forty’, was shot dead in the garden of a house in Church Lane. His body was found at about 2.30am on Monday, July 25.

Mr Hunter, 34, from Coulsdon, was pronounced dead at the scene. A post-mortem examination concluded the cause of death as a result of a gunshot wound.

A 36-year-old woman also suffered gunshot wounds to the leg in the attack at the £1million house in Headley.

Detective Chief Inspector Mike Ashcroft, said: “We continue to carry out extensive enquiries as part of the ongoing investigation and will leave no stone unturned to bring the offender or offenders to justice.

“Around 300 people attended the party that evening most of who travelled down from London. If you attended the party that evening and have not yet spoken to us please get in touch as soon as possible.

“Any information you have, no matter how insignificant you think it might be, could assist our investigation and help us get closure for the victim’s family.”

Three people have been arrested in connection with Mr Hunter’s murder.

In September, a 27-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder was re-bailed pending further enquiries and will return on 7 February 2017.

A 30-year-old woman and a 38-year-old man also arrested in connection with the incident have been advised that they no longer need to answer bail whilst the investigation continues.
