The Northern line Night Tube launches tonight adding the busiest of all London Underground lines to the overnight service.

It follows in the footsteps of the Central, Victoria and Jubilee lines, with the Piccadilly line set to become the 5th Night Tube on Friday, December 16.

From tonight, November 18, Northern line Night Tube services will run from High Barnet and Edgware to Morden via the Charing Cross branch.

TfL confirmed there would be a train approximately every eight minutes between Morden and Camden Town and every 15 minutes from Camden Town to High Barnet/Edgware.

Standard off-peak charges will apply.

Your Local Guardian:

Nearly 1.5 million people have used the Night Tube since its launch.

The Mayor of London Sadiq Khan said: “As a Tooting boy, it gives me particular delight to see the Night Tube start on the Northern line tonight.

The Night Tube is helping tens of thousands of passengers get safely to and from work or home from their evenings out every weekend, and it’s great news that even more of the capital will be opened up with the addition of the Northern line tonight, and the Piccadilly line next month.”
