A production company is calling on the borough’s young talent to step into the spotlight and audition for a performance of Aladdin to run through the Christmas period.
Q Productions will stage the show at Waddon Leisure Centre, which will be converted into a 400-seat theatre space for the production from December 7 to 31, folllowing the closure of Fairfield Halls.
Auditions for the Junior Ensemble will take place this Sunday, September 25, at the centre.
Eddie Dredge, director of the show, said: “This is an amazing opportunity for talented performers from the Croydon community to take part in a fully professional production where they will work alongside a star name and professional West End performers.
“It’s also a great chance for these young performers to share their talents in front of their friends and family in their home town.”
The production company are asking for the auditionees to be aged nine to 15 years old. To register, visit www.aladdincroydon.com.
