A Battersea brewery’s annual beer festival will return in September – with a little twist.
Sambrook’s Brewery’s Beer By the River Festival on Tooting Bec Common on Saturday, September 10, will feature more than 30 brewers and 100 beers…and oysters.
Influenced by the US trend, Sambrook’s has teamed up with OysterMen to pair its craft beers with the shellfish.
Sambrook’s head of marketing Adrian Lugg said: “We’re all about the beer, and every bottle, keg and cask is made right here in our Battersea Brewery. We have a real focus on quality, innovation and future trends and that’s why this mash up of oysters and ale is definitely one worth trying!”
As well as beer and oysters, the festival – from noon to 10pm – includes music, entertainment and street food trucks. Tickets cost £10 on the door. Search Eventbrite.co.uk
