A Battersea bar getting into the Olympic spirit this summer with a Brazilian-inspired pop-up.
Pizzeria, bar and karaoke venue Bunga Bunga in Battersea Bridge Road will serve up Rio Olympics-inspired cocktails, Samba dancing and a Caipirinha bar upstairs at its tongue-in-cheek South American beach shack Cocobananas.
It will host an Olympics opening ceremony party on August 7 and a closing party on August 21, with a Brazilian-inspired supper club hosted by acclaimed South American blogger Natalie Salmon, aka The Latina Cook.
Bunga Bunga’s head chef Alexis de Naray and Salmon have created a menu including Brazilian pastels, coxinha, chicken heart skewers, vegetarian Brazilian pizza and feijoada.
