Thieves fractured a man’s jaw and stole mobile phones and cash from him and his friend during a Mitcham mugging.

Four men approached the two victims in Lavender Park when they got of an N57 bus at about 3.30am on May 8.

The suspects split the two men up and robbed them.

When one of the victims tried to run away, he was assaulted and suffered a fractured jaw and a bruised right eye.

The other victim also suffered a bruised eye and cut to his tongue.

Police would like to speak with four men in connection with the incident.

The first suspect is a slim white man, who is about 5ft 10ins, in his mid-20s with two blonde pigtails.

The second is a medium built black man, about 5ft 7ins with short black hair.

The third man is white, 5ft 10ins with short, black hair. He was wearing a white top with dark stripes across his chest.

The fourth is an Asian man with short black hair who was wearing a dark jumper with white writing across the chest.
