The Epsom Medical Equipment Fund received a generous donation of £500 from the Deepdene Rotary Club last week when Bess Harding MBE was welcomed to speak to the club about the Fund’s current goals.
The EMEF has been working with Epsom and its surrounding communities to raise funds for the Epsom General Hospital since 1979 and has raised nearly £4 million in total. The fund’s current project is for a £54,000 ultrasound scanner to aid in vascular health and stroke investigations.

“Listening to her talk about fundraising in every possible way anybody could imagine caused us all to wonder what we could do to help.”
The Epsom Medical Equipment Fund’s next fundraising event is a sale of various items including knitted goods and recycled cards at the Ashley Shopping Centre in Epsom, outside Marks and Spencer on Friday, May 27 from 9.30am to 4pm.
