He has worked on cases featuring Lord Lucan, then-Prime Minister Harold Wilson, Christine Keeler, Enoch Powell and the infamous Security Express robbery – and now Epsom and Ewell’s Larry Henderson is lifting the lid on his storied career.

Henderson moved to the borough in 1971 to join the Met police as a Scene of Crime Officer (SOCO) and worked on murders, blackmail and robbery cases on his way to becoming head of the Flying Squad’s forensic team and the UK’s most experienced SOCO.

His new book 999 CSI: Blood, Threats and Fears brings to life all of the highs and lows of a more than 20 year career. It was serialised in the Mail on Sunday last month and is out now.
