A third man has been charged with the murder of Neel Croos, 26, after a fight in Mitcham said to involve up to 40 Tamil men and weapons, including an axe and a sword.

Unemployed Sivakaran Ockersdz, 18, of Heathdene Road, Wallington, was charged yesterday with murdering Mr Croos, also known as Adhavan Thanabalafingham and Justin Neel.

He was also charged with violent disorder and possession of an offensive weapon - a bottle.

He is the third man to face charges relating to the armed brawl in Sibthorpe Road Car Park in Holborn Way, Mitcham, on November 23.

Mr Croos died of a serious head injury a few days afterwards

1/ Prashad Sothilingham was the first to be charged with murder on November 28. He was also charged with attempting to murder Jeyathpan Ganesalingham, 29, as well as possessing an axe and threatening unlawful violence

2/ Araventhan Puventhiran, 21, of Stoneleigh Avenue, Worcester Park, was also charged with murdering Mr Croos, as well as possessing a machete and threatening unlawful violence.

Seven men were orginally arrested after the fight.
