Police talked a man down from a bridge near Chessington North station last night.
Emergency services were called to Bridge Road at 10.30pm and spoke to a man in his 20s.
A police spokeswoman said they were called amid “concerns for somebody’s safety”.
The road was cordoned off and reopened at 1.12am.
British Transport Police and London Ambulance also attended.
