A fashion show is forecast to bring glitz and glamour to a Wandsworth Common gym on Wednesday.

Weights and rowing machines will be replaced with high heels and mascara as The Train Station gym in Jaggard Way hosts a charity fashion show on Wednesday, October 7 at 7pm.

The event will feature clothes from shops along the Bellevue Road parade including Sienna, Katie & Jo, Jigsaw and Olivier’s Lounge.

Each of the six shops involved will be showcasing five to ten outfits, starting with casual day wear building up to evening and party wear.

The fashion show is expected to last half an hour, after which the boutiques included will be staying open late for anyone wishing to buy anything that dazzled them from the catwalk.

All profits from the event are going to the Trinity House Hospice.

The show has been organised by James Cash, The Train Station co-owner, and Olivier of Olivier’s Lounge.

Talking about Trinity House Hospice, Mr Cash said: “It is a very important charity for our area.”

The event, sponsored by Savills estate agent, costs £15 which includes entrance, a goodie bag and a draw in the raffle.

Tickets can be purchased from Katie & Jo, Sienna and Olivier’s Lounge on Bellevue Road.
