Police were called to Wimbledon station last night to help a vulnerable woman.
Witnesses saw a number of emergency vehicles outside the station yesterday evening, as officers from both the British Transport Police and Metropolitan Police tried to help her.

A BTP spokesman said: “We were called to Wimbledon station shortly after 6pm on Thursday to a report of a vulnerable woman on the platform.
“BTP and Metropolitan Police service officers attended and the woman was taken to a place of safety shortly after.”
