Bomb shells found in a busy road in Tooting on Saturday led to an evacuation, police investigation and road closure.
Two 18 pound18 shells from the First World War were uncovered in Church Lane in Furzedown.
Police cordoned part of the road and evacuated nearby homes and businesses while they investigated.
The shells were deemed to be safe and were removed by officers.
