A 16 year-old boy was taken to hospital after being stabbed in New Addington last night.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman said officers were called at about 10.10pm after reports of men fighting in Dunley Drive.

They arrived to find the teen suffering stab wounds.

Paramedics took him to a south London hospital, where his injuries were not thought to be life threatening.

No arrests have been made.

But a London Ambulance Service spokesman said: "We treated two teenagers for stab wounds. They were taken as a priority to hospital.

"We sent a number of resources to the scene including a duty manager, ambulance crew, fast responder by car and London’s Air Ambulance team."

Parts of Dunley Drive and Merrow Way were closed off by police after the stabbing, with bus routes T31, 130, and N64 diverted.

The police spokesman said roads had reopened by 5am today.

Anyone with information should call police on 110 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
