A man exposed himself to girls on their way to school in two separate incidents last week.
The man flashed on Burgh Heath Road, Epsom, last Wednesday, June 10, and on Church Street, Epsom, last Thursday, June 11.
Police said both incidents "involved schoolgirls in the early morning as they were making their way to school".
The man is white, aged 20 to 30, 5ft 10" tall, of normal build, with slight stubble and has brown or gingery short, messy hair.
He was wearing a grey hooded top and blue jeans during one of the incidents and a plain brown hoody with the hood down during the other.
Detective Constable Errol Chetty said: "Although the man did not say anything to the girls or try to harm them it is nonetheless a very distressing experience for the victims and we need to find this individual as soon as possible.
"We have stepped up patrols in the area and neighbourhood officers are on hand to speak to anyone who has any questions or concerns.
"The Downs and surrounding area is used by many people and we are appealing for anyone who may know this man or has seen someone acting suspiciously in the early morning to get in touch with us straight away."
