Smoke billowed out onto a road this morning as fire fighters extinguished a blaze.
A member of the public Jonathan Hunt spotted a white car on fire this morning and managed to take this photograph as fire crews arrived.
Fire fighters from New Malden went to Bushey Road in Raynes Park at about 8.30am to put out the flames which threatened to swamp the white Subaru parked on the side of the road.
Mr Hunt praised fire fighters from the White Watch for their swift response.
On Twitter, he said: “Car fire at Bushey Rd and Grand Drive in Raynes Park. Well done to @LondonFire for a swift and decisive response!”
