An elderly man has been left shaken up after being robbed in a Morrisons car park yesterday.

The victim, who is in his 70s, was pushed down in his car by one of the robbers before the other stole his disabled parking badge, fishing licence and a walking stick.

Both men then ran away in the direction of the main car park entrance of the store in Church Walk, Caterham, at about 1pm yesterday afternoon.

Surrey Police say the first suspect is white, about 6ft, in his 20s and of medium build.

He was wearing light blue jeans and a light grey T-shirt, with a big logo on the left chest area.

The second man is described as being white and of average build.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Joanne Sewell said: "This has been an extremely distressing ordeal for the man concerned and took place during a busy time of day, in a busy car park.

"I am urging anyone who was in the area around this time and may have seen or heard anything strange or suspicious or indeed seen the actual men described, to contact us with details as a matter of urgency.

"It might be that you saw them in the area in the lead up to the attack, or fleeing from the scene in a shaken up manner.

"Any information, no matter how small it might seem, may prove vital in the investigation and we would like to hear from you."
