Leatherhead’s first ever Easter parade passed through the town centre on Saturday.
People who took part carried chocolate Easter eggs, daffodils, hot cross buns, maracas and a banner with "hope" written on it.
Before the parade, Dave Banko, leader of Churches Together in Leatherhead, which organised the event, said: "The full Easter story is one of life not death, joy not sadness and is inclusive of all peoples.
"We have decided to celebrate by having fun, including the children, and singing a couple of Easter songs."
