Bargain hunters descended on Kingston Road this morning for the New Malden Aldi opening.
Mayor Ken Smith opened the store which has brought an estimated 40 new jobs to the area.
Store Manager, Sylvester Lewandowski, said: “I’d like to thank the Mayor and Mayoress of the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames for their support during the opening.
“It was great to meet the local community and get to know our new customers.”
