Firefighters have brought a house fire under control in Chessington.
Firefighters outside the house
London Fire Brigade said four crews were called to a terraced house in Bridge Road at 10.30.
A spokeswoman said most of the ground and first floors were alight.
But the flames were brought under control at 11.40, she added.
Half the house has been damaged by fire, and smoke has damaged a next-door home.
No one was injured, the brigade said.
