Be careful on Putney Bridge Road while it is being resurfaced, Wandsworth Council has warned.

Over the next two weeks large areas of road between Armoury Way and Putney High Street will be broken out and replaced starting today (February 16).

The works are expected to last for 12 days from 9am to 4pm. Some restrictions will remain outside those hours and drivers and cyclists are being advised to use alternatives routes.

On Sunday, February 22, the entire road will be closed in both directions, from 9am to 4pm, and a traffic diversion will be in place.

The project is part of the council’s roads investment programme which is keeping the local network in the best possible condition.
