Protesters campaigning against an international armoured vehicles fair at Twickenham stadium said they wanted to embarrass organisers.
The International Armoured Vehicles (IAV) conference was held at the rugby ground over four days, before concluding on Thursday.
Twickenham, Richmond and Kingston Network against the Arms Trade (Traknat) arrived early each day to voice their concerns to army officers and government officials from around the world.
Protestor Mary Holmes said: "It is all too often these vehicles are used against civilians and peaceful protesters by authoritarian rulers.
"Armoured vehicles may be legitimately used to protect UK soldiers but they are also weapons and we should not be helping repressive regimes to upgrade their stock."
According to the group, the conference guest list included delegates from the likes of Saudi Arabia and Egypt.
It is the first time the event has been held at Twickenham stadium.
