Police have appealed for witnesses to a hit-and-run collision in South Croydon that left a 49-year-old pedestrian with a broken pelvis.
The woman was knocked down by a car in Brighton Road at 11.30pm on Saturday.
She was taken to a south London hospital by ambulance.
The driver did not stop following the collision.
Detectives, who have made no arrests, today appealed for help to establish details of the car involved and the identity of its driver.
Anyone who witnessed the collision or has information can call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
