A crocodile named JayZ, two baby meerkats and assorted snakes and scorpions were among the unusual visitors to Hampton and Denmead schools as part of National Biology week, from October 13 to 19.
Television wildlife expert Pete Prodromou, also known as Safari Pete, brought his mobile zoo to the schools to allow pupils to examine and hold the animals while learning about the importance of conservation around the world.
