Putney Bridge has reopened to drivers after 74 days of repairs.
South west London breathed a sigh of relief, at 5am this morning, as the Grade II listed bridge reopened to vehicles.
The closure caused chaos during rush hours, led to traffic jams and impacted local businesses.

But now, pedestrians, drivers and cyclists can once again cross the major route over the River Thames together.
The bridge closed to traffic on Monday, July 14, for £1.5m worth of repairs including the restoration of some of its Victorian features, a new road surface and a drainage upgrade.
Engineers were hit with some unexpected repair-work when a bus crashed into the bridge, the week before its closure, causing huge blocks to fall into the River Thames.
