Nursery staff did the ice bucket challenge at a summer fair on Saturday.
Parents paid to throw buckets of water over their heads at Wishing Willow Day Nursery in the Drive, Banstead.
The ice bucket challenge, which has gone viral on social media, raises awareness of neurodegenerative disease ALS.
Deputy manager Gemma Bruton said: "The girls who work here had buckets of water thrown over their heads. The parents got the teachers. It was really funny."
Children stroked rabbits and guinea pigs, had their faces painted, went on a bouncy castle and took part in a teddy bears picnic at the fair.
Apart from the ice bucket challenge, the rest of the money raised on the day went to the Bright Horizons Foundation for Children.
