Police officers have been teaching people about home security and personal safety at a meet-and-greet session at Tooting police station.
The Graveney and Furzedown local policing team held a community safety awareness day, on Tuesday, August 19.
The team, led by Sergeant Simon Harris, handed out crime prevention advice and safety goodies.
It was an opportunity for the public to meet Sergeant Harris who recently joined the team.
The officers also security marked bikes and handed out special pens for people to take home and mark their valuables with.
The council’s community safety division also attended. They are led by neighbourhood officer Adama Sulaiman, who organised for a local locksmith company to take part.
