Cyclist will embark upon a gruelling one-off challenge through Uganda as part of a Hampton Hill charity’s fundraising mission.

Hampton Hill based charity African Revival released details of its next overseas cycling challenge, which gives riders the chance to experience the opportunity of a lifetime while raising cash for charity.

The Uganda Cycle Challenge 2015 will run from February 5 to 15 and will see cyclists travel more than 400km passing Lake Victoria, the source of the Nile, Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary and Murchison Falls National Park.

Participants can visit African Revival’s projects and see first-hand how the money raised will improve the education of the children in the schools the charity works with.

Holly Smith, fundraiser for African Revival, said: "Our fundraising challenge would be a once in a lifetime challenge for a seasoned cyclist or a complete beginner - or anyone in between.

"The trip takes in some of the most beautiful scenery the country has to offer, along with chance to spot exotic wildlife, and will end with a fantastic welcome into an African school."
