Red, white and blue proved to be popular colours for attire at this year’s Ladies’ Day at Sandown Park.
Falling on Independence Day, women dressed in their most chic outfits to honour the American holiday, while enjoying an afternoon of racing at the Esher racecourse.
More than 100 ladies entered the best dressed competition, with American-born fashion entrepreneur, television presenter and socialite Noelle Reno choosing the winner.
Clapham resident Gail McLean won the first prize for her American-themed outfit and walked away with Hot Diamonds jewellery, Molton Brown products, a designer hat and annual badges for Sandown Park.
Two runner ups were presented bouquets of flowers and a bottle of champagne.
