Kia Motors has joined forces with Walton Charity to help support the ongoing foodbank project.

The motoring company, which recently relocated its UK head office to Walton Green, pledge its support to the charity by visiting the foodbank on Friday, February 7.

In the lead up to Christmas last year, the Walton and Hersham foodbank, which Walton Charity is part of, fed more than 200 people.

Paul Philpott, president and CEO of Kia Motors, said: “The move to Walton has been very positive for the whole team at Kia and we are all looking forward to supporting Walton Charity further in the years to come.

“The foodbank has already struck a chord with the staff, particularly over the Christmas period, and we are keen to find ways to help Walton Charity and the local community.”
