Two men were taken to hospital with facial injuries after they were violently assaulted by four teenagers in Walton.

The two victims, aged 19 and 23, were walking in Nightingale Road at about 6.45pm on Friday, November 15, when four teenagers attacked them, repeatedly punching them in the face and head.

The assault happened at the junction with Crown Close and the attackers ran off toward Pankhurst Road.

The victims took themselves home before they were taken to St Peter’s Hospital, Chertsey, where they received treatment for their head and facial injuries.

Four male teenagers, aged 14, 15 and two 16-year-olds, were arrested and released on police bail pending enquiries.

House to house enquiries have been carried out and police are now appealing for witnesses.
