Police have stepped up patrols after a spate of burglaries.
The number of residential and non-residential burglaries rose by 5.3 per cent - an increase of 14 offences - during September and October 2013 compared with the same time last year.
Sutton Safer Neighbourhoods Team officers have been carrying out extra uniformed and plain clothes patrols supported by emergency response officers and other specialist teams.
In addition, police have been running a number of operations to catch the perpetrators including setting up roadside checkpoints.
