Pupils geared up for their Christmas fun run this week.
Athletes from Stanley Park High School were joined the Manager of at-risk Home-Start Sutton for training ahead of their fund-raising fun run on December 15.
The race will place in the grounds of Stanley Park High School in Carshalton, with all runners getting a Santa hat and commemorative medal.
The charity, which has supported Sutton families for almost 30 years with problems involving everything from mental health to domestic abuse and bereavement, faces closure after the council recently pulled its funding.
Ian Hazel from Stanley Park High School, who joined Home-Start Sutton's Manager Judith Armstrong for the training session, said: "It should be a really fun event just before Christmas and we hope lots of people will take part."
