Ladies from a Sutton Muslim association have been serving international food and holding henna stalls at school fetes.
On Saturday, June 22, ladies from the Ahmadiyya Muslim Association Sutton volunteered to help at Devonshire Primary School School fair raising £108 from the sale of chicken biryani and £61 from the henna stall.
On June 29 the ladies also sold samosas at Culvers Primary School Fayre.
It is all part of an effort to fulfil one of the requirements of their faith – helping the community and making a positive contribution.
