Police are appealing for witnesses and information after an armed robbery at a bank in Coulsdon.

Officers were called to the Natwest on Brighton Road, just before 2pm on Thursday, June 13, to reports two men, both armed with a gun, had robbed the bank.

The two suspects are said to have threatened customers and staff inside the bank and stolen a quantity of cash from one of the customers before leaving.

They are then said to have made off on a moped along The Avenue, Coulsdon.

No arrests have been made and the incident is being investigated by the Met's Flying Squad.

The suspects are both described as white men in their mid to late 20s.
