The charitable club night ‘Creatures of the Night’ called out to south Londoners to help find new and undiscovered DJ talent for its exclusive bank holiday Sunday event on the May 5 in aid of St. Christopher’s Hospice at the legendary Dogstar, Brixton.

The event has already attracted to the headline slot top DJ and presenter of Xfm’s The Remix, Eddy Temple Morris.

Morris says: “Creatures Of The Night is one of the best parties in London, such a loveable night, with wild decoration and fancy dress, like a little slice of Secret Garden style magic in The Dogstar and it's all for charity too.”

Thanks to a prevalent Twitter and Facebook campaign, fresh and established DJs emerged to give up their time to make up the DJ showcase to be hosted in the Dogstar’s VIP room.

Talents headed up by Creatures of the Night’s regular turntable maestro Hussy Lover include Brixton local DJ Laura Brown, Virgil Howe, Entice’s Paul- Michael Daley, DJ Sweeney and DJ Skeme playing a vast range tunes from house, bass, dupstep, psychedelic hip hop, club classics, dance anthems and drum & bass.

All money raised will be added to Katie Burke’s London marathon target on behalf of St. Christopher’s Hospice raising the awareness of the charity and providing much needed financial support for the amazing job they do providing invaluable palliative care for terminal patients.

Katie who speaks from personal experience of the hospice says: “Stoked for Creatures of the night to be supporting St Christopher’s Hospice to help reach my target sponsorship alongside running the London Marathon.

"This awesome charity looked after my Mum through cancer and I owe them so much.

"The folks at St. Christopher's are a bunch of the nicest and most dedicated palliative care members in the UK and their facilities are what dreams are made of.

“The bank holiday event will also host three headliners in the Dogstar’s Ballroom from the likes of Eddy Temple Morris, Beats In Abundance and Jimi Needles plus side show attractions, games and an exclusive sultry feather fan performance from the world of burlesque’s Miss Phoenix.

Creatures of the Night presents ‘The Colour Carnival’ is on Sunday the 5th May from 9pm until 3am at the Dogstar, 389 Coldharbour Lane, Brixton SW9 8LQ.  Funds will be raised on the door at £3 each from alongside a raffle and grand prize draw, with all proceeds going to St. Christopher’s Hospice.
