Shooting Star Chase has received more than £500 from an Esher women’s networking group.
The Esher and Oxshott branch of Fabulous Women organised a charity evening to help raise funds for the charity.
The evening featured a talk from Andrew Brown, the fastest man to row the Atlantic on his own and magician Theo Theodoris entertained guests with his special brand of magic.
Visitors could try different therapies in taster sessions and stalls sold everything from antique table cloths, jewellery and bras.
Sylvia La Porte, community fundraiser, said: “The fundraising and support is vital for Shooting Star Chase and we are very grateful for the support we have received from Fabulous Women after attending their networking meetings in Oxshott.”
Shooting Star Chase cares for families in west London, Surrey and West Sussex who have a child or teenager with a life-limiting condition and provides services free of charge.
