Crystal Palace held their mini beer festival on Saturday in a packed out Glaziers Bar.

Manager Ian Holloway, Co-Chairman Stephen Browett, celebrity fan Neil Morrissey, Palace legends Mel Blyth and David Payne along with the Cronx brewery and the Crystals all mingled with fans before the game.

Cronx founders Mark Russell and Simon Dale had three of their beers on sale as the club celebrated the announcement of their 2013 Beer Festival.

Co-Chairman Stephen Browett said: “It was great to launch our 2013 Beer Festival in a packed Glazier’s Bar on Saturday.

“It was wonderful to have two former players from the promotion winning 1968/1969 team there as well as Palace fan, actor and brewer Neil Morrissey.”

Mark Russell from the Cronx brewery said: “It was a good launch for what promises to be a fantastic beer festival in May.

“It was great being able to give Palace fans a taste of some of our other beers that aren't usually available at the ground.

“The fact that we had the manager, the chairman, the gorgeous Crystals and some fantastic ex players there was a bonus.”
