A lorry has crashed in to an overhead bridge in Ewell East causing delays for train passengers.
A Southern Trains spokesman said a vehicle hit the overhead bridge about 9.30am.
The line was closed while Network Rail engineers inspected the bridge, which was given the all clear at 10am and reopened.
The line from Horsham to Victoria is still experiencing delays of up to 20 minutes but trains are expected to be running on time by the evening peak.
