Streatham Vale man charged with murder

A Streatham Vale man has appeared in court charged with the stabbing murder of a 21-year-old in Walworth.

Anthony Ogazi, from Stockwell, was attacked in the early hours of May 7 in Olney Road, Walworth.

He died from a stab wound to the leg.

Ashley Cudjoe-Butcher, 27, of Mantlet Close, Streatham Vale, appeared in Camberley Green Magistrates' Court yesterday charged with murder and conspiracy to rob.

He joined four youths and two other men had already charged with the offences.

Aaron Kendall, 20, from Stockwell, Peter Relvas, 19, from Kennington, three 17-year-olds and a boy of 15 appeared on Tuesday.

The seven are due to appear at the Old Bailey on August 5.
