Chelsea footballers slammed for riding without helmets

Four of Chelsea's most popular players have been criticised for riding quad bikes without wearing helmets.
Captain John Terry, 27, Ashley Cole, 27, Joe Cole, 26, and Steve Sidwell, 25, were pictured on two blue Yamahas in Esher last Thursday.
The footballers rode four miles from their training ground in Cobham along a busy road to Esher, without wearing any protective headgear.
Although it is not illegal to drive a quad bike without a helmet, the quartet's actions have been deemed as reckless by safety experts.

They didn't break the law. The so-called 'safety experts' can FRO. Utterly pathetic, this kind of article. Haven't you had a dog-bite incident in your area, or something equally rivetting??

oh come on please i know everyone thinks they should set an example but come on its not illegeal so whats all the fuss about ? get a life and do a real story like the number of road deaths on the A3 or something !!! good luck chelsea for next wed !!

what a pathetic story.
good on them. esher and cobham have some great woodland to ride dirt bikes. i used to love winding up horse riders and getting chased by the local park ranger.
ps you ride a quad, not drive.
